Encased LED Sticks
Each length of ribbon is encased in a hard extruded plastic and terminates at a 3 pin connector. This system greatly extends the life of the LED strip, allowing it to be easily taped or velcroed to virtually any surface.
Single-ended strips are ideal for blanket light replacements or swap out. LED Blankets use our Hybrid ribbon by default, but our quick-swap harness system allows you to convert your blanket into full daylight or full tungsten source in minutes, without needing to purchase additional blankets!
Double-ended strips allow you to daisy chain lengths of ribbon, with no visible gap in the light. You can use your existing harness from the LED Blanket, or purchase additional accessories. The perfect building block!
Sourcemaker's Daylight and Tungsten ribbons have two channels enabling you to select high density or low density. By selecting density you turn off or on alternating diodes. This change can be made on the fly so you can dial in your scene without needing to swap ribbon.
